NFC Beast Week 9 E-mail
Written by White Boy South Bronx

  • Dallas Cowboys

  • Philadelphia Eagles

  • Washington Redskins
  • White Boy's Picks Week 9 (8-13-1)

    3)  Washington Redskins (2-5) at Atlanta Falcons (4-3) (-9)- Washington is just awful. It does nothing well. The Falcons team is angry after a tough loss at every one's new favorite team, The New Orleans Saints. I mean with likable guys like Jeremy Shockey and Darren Sharper how could you not love this team. Atlanta and Matty "Ice" (what an unbelievably stupid nick name) run the NFC's 4th worst team out of the building. THE PICK: FALCONS 28-7

    2) Dallas Cowboys (5-2) at Philadelphia 2nd place baseball (5-2) (-3)- These teams are a very different 5-2. Dallas has not beaten anyone and has barely beats the likes of the lowly Chiefs.  Philly is a much more solid 5-2 including a romp of the paper champion Giants. Philly has a more balanced team and is at home. Expect the Iggles to lift the Phillies fans out of their collective doldrums at least until I come down to Philly with my Yankee gear on sometime soon. THE PICK: EAGLES 28-21

    1) San Diego Chargers (4-3) at New York Giants (5-3) (-4.5)- I just gotta believe the Gints don't lose 4 straight. It is not a good team anymore but is getting back key free agent acquisitons Michael Boley and Chris Canty.  Perhaps even more importantly, C.C. Sabathias retarded half brother C.C. Brown will finally be taking a seat on the pine as Aaron "Don't call me Ross" Rouse will take over at Safety. The Chargers don't figure to adapt to the East coast too well and its soft defense may have trouble stopping a powerful albeit slumping rushing attack. THE PICK: GIANTS 23-16
