NFL Week 12 Hit or Miss

Top 5 picks for Week 12.

Week 12 of the NFL season and by this time of the season is where we typically know what every team is. However this year has been such a mind fuck that it has been nearly impossible to have are any money through Week 11. Whether it be the Bills going from the worst team you have ever seen to super bowl contenders, or Todd Gurley just stopping when scoring a TD would have put the Rams up by 2 scores. I'm not saying I'm bitter about some of this bullshit, but let's just say I may or may not have dropped Gurley in ally fantasy leagues for backup kickers. But without any further ado, let's get into my picks.

Giants(+5 1/2) @ Eagles

The New York football Giants are currently on a remarkable season high 2 game winning streak. The offensive line has been playing better and Eli seems to be playing with bit of a chip on his shoulder. The Eagles on the other hand have not been looking good. Once they lost to the Dallas Cowboys it looked like a lost team. Carson Wentz is clearly still not the same player we saw in the first half of last season and I don't think he will look like that til next season. I actually like the Giants in this game beating the spread and if you are really feeling lucky, take the money line, +235.

Final score: Giants 24 Eagles 20

Browns(+3) @ Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals have lost 4 of their last 5 games and may be without AJ Green for yet another week. Without Green out there I just don't see how this offense will be able to move the ball against this over achieving Browns defense. I just can't see the Red Cap Gun do much damage without his best weapon. Then not to mention the Browns are coming off a bye and giving Greg Williams time to game plan and Baker Mayfield time to rest and get healthy. I like the Browns in this game straight up.

Final Score: Browns 21 Bengals 17

Patriots (-10 1/2) @ Jets

No team prepares during bye weeks quite like the Patriots. Also coming off of being blown out against the Titans will have lit a fire under their asses. Although 10 and a half points is a lot, I think we are going to see pissed off T Brady out their, and of course they are playing the absolutely pathetic New York Jets. Take the Patriots with confidence.

Final Score: Patriots 38 Jets 17

Packers (+3) @ Vikings

As we saw last week in Chicago and for his entire career, Kirk Cousins never shows up in prime time games, having a horrific record of 4-12. On top of the Pack having a 10 day break between games, they should be well rested and Rodgers is seeking blood. This man is in such a zone that according to his brother Jordan, Aaron didn’t even call his family for the holidays, stone cold killer. Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks of all time and will show it yet again on Sunday Night Football.

Final Score: Packers 28 Vikings 24

Titans @ Texans (-6 1/2)

Texans have been on a tear lately winning 7 straight games. Having a home game against the lack luster Tennessee Titans who seem to just be allergic to the end zone for periods of time will be the exact game they need to keep that streak alive. JJ Watt and Jadeveon Clowney have been scary this year and will be feasting on Marcus Mariota all game. Deshaun Watson is looking better each and every week and they are going to win by more than a touchdown.

Final Score: Texans 24 Titans 13
