2018 WWE Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Review

2018 WWE Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Review

Tables, Ladders and Chairs was a fun show with few low points as the WWE ends 2018 on a high note.

Cruiserweight Championship: Buddy Murphy def. Cedric Alexander

This was an alright match. Murphy kicked out of a lumbar check, shocking the crowd, and later won with Murphy's Law. Buddy Murphy retains the championship.

Guitar Ladder Match: Elias def. Bobby Lashley

Elias was able to climb the ladder and grab the guitar to win the match. But he was then beaten down by Lashley and Lio Rush afterwards.

Mixed Matched Challenge Finals: Carmella and R-Truth def. Alicia Fox and Jinder Mahal

R-TRUTH and Carmella are now both number 30 entrants in their respective Royal Rumble.

Smackdown Tag Team Title: The Bar def. The Usos and The New Day

As always a very fun match, The Bar retained their tag team titles.

Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match: Braun Strowman (and help) def. Baron Corbin

Braun Strowman was unable to compete tonight so he recruited Apollo Crews (who cares), Bobby Roode and Chad Gable (who cares), Finn Balor (OK), and Kurt Angle (Fine) to beat down Baron Corbin so he could get the win.

Tables Match: Natalya def. Ruby Riott

Natalya gets her revenge on Ruby Riott and the Riott Squad by putting all three women through a table. It was a good end to a heartwarming story.

Finn Balor def. Drew McIntyre

Dolph Ziggler interfered to allow Finn to get the upper hand and score the pinfall, setting up Finn vs Dolph tonight on RAW.

Chairs Match: Rey Mysterio def. Randy Orton

Rey wins with a really unique roll-up pin, so this feud is going to continue.

Raw Women's Championship: Ronda Rousey def. Nia Jax

Shocker shocker Ronda Rousey makes Nia tap out with the armbar. Rondas in ring work far exceeds anyone's expectations for wrestling less than a year.

WWE Championship: Daniel Bryan def. AJ Styles

An amazing match that was ruined with a lame cradle pin finish. This feud will continue until there is a clear winner.

Intercontinental Championship: Dean Ambrose def. Seth Rollins

Very underwhelming match that had the crowd chanting “This is boring” halfway through. This should have been a violent and emotional match, but it just fell flat in the end.

Smackdown Women's Championship: Asuka def. Becky Lynch and Charlotte

Hands down the match of the night, Ronda Rousey came down for the finish to push Becky and Charlotte off the top a ladder, giving Asuka time to climb up and retrieve the title.

Overall this was a really fun show that for once had the correct match as the main event. The women’s TLC triple threat match stole the show, AJ and Bryan put on a great straight up wrestling match, and as announced during the show, Vince McMahon returns to television tomorrow night for Monday Night Raw. The WWE are bringing in the big guns because of low ratings and Vince always equals more viewers.

Betting mastermind. Didn't have the height or talent for sports but I can talk and pick them like a champ.
