NBA Hit or Miss December 22nd, 2018

Season Record: 8-4

Nuggets (+2) @ Clippers

Denver is currently the top team in the West and it is odd to see them as the underdog here. They may be the away team, but they are still the better team. Nikola Jokic is the best player on the court tonight should have himself a day against the interior defense of the Clippers. Los Angeles is still one of the best shooting teams in the league, which gives them a chance, but the defense of Denver is top 5. Denver should be able to pull this win out tonight. Being given 2 points makes this pick even better.

Raptors  @ 76ers (-8)

Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out for tonight, leaving a big hole on both sides of the ball. Kawhi has proven yet again that he is the best two way player in the game, without his presence the superstars of the Sixers will be salivating. Serge Ibaka is also out tonight leaving the Raptors with less fresh bodies to throw at Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. Kyle Lowry is not going to be able to keep the Raptors in it by himself. Jimmy Butler is going to stuff the stat sheets and be the player of the game. Take the Philadelphia 76ers winning by double digits tonight.

Mavericks (+11) @ Warriors

The Warriors are still going to take this game tonight, but I will never bet against the Dallas Mavericks. The all around talent on the Mavs is too good and Harrison Barnes always play well against his former team. As always, I love Luka Doncic, he literally does everything. Luka is going to be ROY this season and he should be able to put together a decent performance. And DeAndre Jordan will be able to own the boards. Like I said, Golden State is still going to win this game, but I it is going to be by less than 11 points. The Mavs should be able to keep this game close and lose by 7 or 8.
