NBA Hit or Miss January 16th, 2019

Last time we went 2-1; with no signs of slowing down, the winning streak continues.

Season Record: 20-7

Magic @ Pistons (-3.5)

When it comes to betting on NBA games, I usually look at the talent comparison. The Pistons have the better players here, which gives them the better chance to win. Blake Griffin is coming off a huge performance against the Clippers and should be riding that same wave into this game. Detroit is going to control the glass and will get plenty of second chance points. Although the Pistons have been playing poorly of late, this is a turn it around game at home. Take the Pistons.

Raptors (+2.5) @ Celtics

The Raptors have the best record in the NBA and yet they’re the underdogs against a team on a 3 game losing streak. Thanks you Vegas, thank you. I will gladly take your money. I would take the Raptors -2.5. The Celtics have an identity issue right now and don't know who they are. As I said, 3 game losing streak and 5-5 in their last 10. The Raptors are 8-2 in their last 10 and are currently on a 5 game winning streak. Lock of the Night, take the Raptors.

Nets @ Rockets (-5.5)

Rockets should win this game by double digits. James Harden has the hot hand and the Rockets are looking like a top team yet again. The Nets have their share of talented players, but I like picking the team with the best player. I’m shocked the line is only 5.5 for the Rockets at home. I had to take a second look. Take the Rockets with confidence.

Betting mastermind. Didn't have the height or talent for sports but I can talk and pick them like a champ.
