NFL Fantasy Favorites - Week 5

We’ve been dominant in all 4 weeks of the season thus far. But this week, this one is going to be our Super Bowl!

QB – Tom Brady, New England Patriots (DK Salary $6,500, 20.3 FPPG)

  • Was unstoppable before facing a strong Bills defense, averaging 25.5 FPPG over his first 3 starts

  • Has one of the best TD:INT ratios, throwing 7 touchdowns and just 1 interception for an insane 97.5 passer rating

  • Going up against the horrible R-words defense that is 28th in total yards allowed (399.3 YPG allowed) and ranks 29th in OPRK against QBs

RB – David Johnson, Arizona Cardinals (DK Salary $7,500, 18.6 FPPG)

  • Has continued to excel, averaging 20.2 FPPG over his last 2 games

  • Has been a dual threat out of the backfield this year, collecting 173 rushing yards, 182 receiving yards, and 3 total touchdowns through 4 games

  • Opposing Bengals defense is horrible against the run, allowing 143 YPG on the ground (27th in the league) and ranking 31st in OPRK against RBs

RB – Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers (DK Salary $5,900, 16.5 FPPG) 

  • Has been on a mission for the endzone, collecting 4 rushing touchdowns in his last 3 games

  • Receives a significant amount of touches, averaging 19 rushing attempts and 3.8 targets per game

  • Opposing Cowboys defense is average against the run, ranking 14th in OPRK against RBs

WR – Alshon Jeffrey, Philadelphia Eagles (DK Salary $5,900, 11.6 FPPG)

  • Has played very well in the games that he has been fully healthy, averaging 17.5 FPPG in those starts

  • Has a nose for the endzone, hauling in 2 TDs and rushing for 1 in his two healthy games

  • Opposing Jets team is terrible against the pass, allowing 286.7 YPG in the air (28th in the league) and ranking 29th in OPRK against WRs

WR – Tyrell Williams, Oakland Raiders (DK Salary $5,200, 16.4 FPPG)

  • Is the only non-QB in the NFL to have a touchdown in each of the first 4 weeks, hauling in 4 TDs through Week 4

  • Has been a major target for Derek Carr since the departure of Antonio Brown, seeing 7 targets in 3 of his 4 starts

  • Opposing Bears defense is significantly worse against the pass than they are against the run, allowing 79% of their yards to be through the air

WR – Robby Anderson, New York Jets (DK Salary $4,500, 7.2 FPPG)

  • Jets QB Luke Falk is coming off of a bye week and had extra time to prep with New York’s offense

  • Is a true GOAT for telling a cop, “I will f*ck your wife and nut in her eye”

  • Opposing Eagles defense is banged up and gives up a ton of Fantasy Points to receivers, ranking dead last 32nd in OPRK against WRs

TE – Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens (DK Salary $4,800, 18.4 FPPG)

  • Was a fantasy MACHINE to start the season, averaging 28 FPPG in his first 2 games 

  • Continues to get a large amount of opportunities from Lamar Jackson, averaging 8 targets per game and has not had less than 7 in any given week

  • Opposing Steelers defense ranks in the bottom half of the league, allowing 375.3 yards per game

FLEX – Wayne Gallman Jr., New York Giants (DK Salary $5,400, 10.8 FPPG)

  • Subbed in exceptionally well for the injured Saquon Barkley, collecting 118 all-purpose yards and racking up 2 touchdowns last week for 28.8 Fantasy Points

  • Is a dual threat when starting, rushing 18 times and grabbing 6 receptions in his first start of the season

  • Opposing Vikings defense is mediocre against running backs, ranking 15th in OPRK against RBs

DST – New England Patriots (DK Salary $4,300, 20.8 FPPG)

  • Has been dominant to start the season, allowing just 21 total points in 4 games (5.25 PPG) while causing 10 turnovers, 18 sacks, and 3 defensive TDs

  • The opposing R-words are horrible on offense, ranking 28th in yards per game (296.3), 28th in points per game (16.5), and 29th in 3rd down percentage (28.6%)

  • D.C. is banged up at quarterback and as a result will be starting Colt McCoy under center this week…Colt McCoy…
