NFL Fantasy Favorites - Week 6

Someone should be making a documentary about this. 5 weeks of winners to start the season, and this week we go for 6!

Last Lineup’s Best Picks:

Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers (52.2 Fantasy Points vs 16.5 FPPG)

Tom Brady, New England Patriots (27.92 Fantasy Points vs 20.3 FPPG)

David Johnson, Arizona Cardinals (18.6 Fantasy Points vs 18.6 FPPG)

DJ Moore, Carolina Panthers (15.1 Fantasy Points vs 13.1 FPPG)

Tonight’s Starting Lineup:

QB – Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons (DK Salary $6,400, 26.1 FPPG)

  • Continues to get stronger as the season progresses, putting up 35.9 Fantasy Points last week with 4 total touchdowns (3 passing, 1 rushing)

  • Significantly limiting his turnovers, tossing just 2 interceptions over his last 3 games

  • Going up against a terrible Cardinals defense that ranks dead last in the league in OPRK against QBs

RB – Chris Carson, Seattle Seahawks (DK Salary $6,000, 16.9 FPPG)

  • Dominating as of late, averaging 21.9 FPPG over his last 2 games

  • Receiving a significantly higher amount of touches per game, seeing 27 rushing attempts last week after getting 15 attempts in each of the first 3 weeks

  • Opposing Browns defense is horrible against the run, allowing 150.8 YPG on the ground (29th in the league) and ranking 27th in OPRK against RBs

RB – Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans (DK Salary $6,100, 17.3 FPPG)

  • A consistent fantasy performer, collecting double-digit Fantasy Points in each of his first 5 games

  • Has a real nose for the endzone, getting in for 5 total touchdowns thus far and scoring in 4 of his 5 starts

  • Opposing Broncos defense struggles heavily against the run, allowing 126.4 rushing YPG (22nd in the league) and ranking 28th in OPRK against RBs

WR – DJ Chark Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars (DK Salary $5,500, 22.3 FPPG)

  • Has solidified himself as Jacksonville’s top receiver, averaging nearly 100 YPG and hauling in 5 touchdowns thus far

  • His chemistry with QB Gardner Minshew continues to grow, seeing career highs in receptions (8), targets (11), yards (164), touchdowns (2), and Fantasy Points (39.4) last week against the Panthers

  • Exceptional value at over 22 FPPG for $5,500 DK

  • Opposing Saints defense gives up a ton of Fantasy Points in the air, ranking 26th in OPRK against WRs

WR – Calvin Ridley, Atlanta Falcons (DK Salary $5,700, 14.3 FPPG)

  • Is beginning to thrive again with the consistent improvement of QB Matt Ryan, seeing 9 targets, 5 receptions, nearly 100 yards, and 1 touchdown last week

  • Arizona’s defense is going to have its hands full with Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu, and don’t have the remaining defensive pieces necessary to keep up with Ridley

  • Opposing Cardinals defense is terrible, ranking 28th in points allowed per game (27.6) and 29th in total yards allowed per game (408.0)

WR – Adam Thielen, Minnesota Vikings (DK Salary $6,700, 16.8 FPPG)

  • Smacked some sense into Kirk Cousins with his public criticism of the QB, saying, “At some point, you have to throw the ball down the field.”

  • Had his best game of the season last week, hauling in 7 receptions for 130 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 35 Fantasy Points

  • Opposing Eagles defense is heavily banged up and gives up a ton of Fantasy Points to receivers, ranking 27th in passing yards allowed per game (271.2) and 31st in OPRK against WRs

TE – Will Dissly, Seattle Seahawks (DK Salary $4,900, 14.8 FPPG)

  • Has probably been the most pleasant surprise to the Fantasy Season, collecting 14.8 FPPG with limited expectations and averaging 17.9 FPPG over his last 4 games

  • Has been a reliable red zone target for QB Russell Wilson, hauling in 4 touchdowns in his last 4 starts

  • Opposing Browns defense does not defend the middle of the field well, ranking 22nd in OPRK against TEs

FLEX – Alshon Jeffery, Philadelphia Eagles (DK Salary $5,800, 11.5 FPPG)

  • Has played very well in the games in which he has been fully healthy, averaging 15.4 FPPG in those 3 starts

  • Gets a consistently high amount of opportunities per game, averaging 8 targets in each of his 3 healthy games this year

  • Opposing Vikings defense is subpar against receivers in Fantasy, ranking 18th in OPRK against WRs

DST – Tennessee Titans (DK Salary $2,900, 10.0 FPPG)

  • Incredible value at 10 FPPG for under $3,000 DK

  • Has held opposing offenses to limited scoring, never giving up more than 20 points in any of their first 5 games

  • Opposing Broncos team is simply terrible, starting the season 1-4, ranking 26th in points per game (18.0), and scoring over 20 points just once this year (lost 26-24 to the Jaguars in Week 4)
