Two nights, two wins! Let’s keep this streak going!!
Last Lineup’s Best Picks:
Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers (65.25 Fantasy Points vs 45.3 FPPG)
Pascal Siakam, Toronto Raptors (63.75 Fantasy Points vs 32.7 FPPG)
Donovan Mitchell, Utah Jazz (44.25 Fantasy Points vs 38.1 FPPG)
Tomas Satoransky, Washington Wizards (38.25 Fantasy Points vs 22.2 FPPG)
Danny Green, Toronto Raptors (37.75 Fantasy Points vs 20.9 FPPG)
Moe Harkless, Portland Trail Blazers (23.25 Fantasy Points vs 17.8 FPPG)
Tonight’s Starting Lineup:
PG – Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks (DK Salary $7,500, 36.3 FPPG)
Young has quickly risen to the top of the NBA rookie class, and now it’s between him and Doncic for Rookie of the Year. Primarily seen as a shooter coming out of college, the former Oklahoma Sooner has shown that he can be a true playmaker with 18.5 PPG and 7.8 APG. Young has had a truly exceptional month of March, which started with an 87 Fantasy Point game against the Chicago Bulls. Since then, Young has averaged 42.2 FPPG over his last 6 games and seems to continue trending upwards. Even with the Hawks out of the playoff hunt, Young will still try to put on a show tonight against a Jazz team that is 24th in OPRK against Point Guards.
SG – Joe Ingles, Utah Jazz (DK Salary $5,800, 28.0 FPPG)
Ingles typically isn’t in the starting lineup for Utah, but that doesn’t mean that he isn’t a major contributor. The Aussie guard has a solid stat line of 11.8 PPG / 4.0 RPG / 5.4 APG / 1.3 STLPG. All that versatility combines for 28 FPPG. Plus, Ingles has really picked up his play recently, averaging 32.6 FPPG over his last 14 games. With Utah likely resting their starters after a dominating performance against the Knicks last night, Ingles should have the minutes necessary to put a knife in a Hawks team that is dead last in OPRK against SG/SFs.
SF – Jeremy Lamb, Charlotte Hornets (DK Salary $6,500, 29.0 FPPG)
The Hornets are down, but not out. With just over 10 games left in the NBA season, Charlotte will be going into overdrive to finish things off. Kemba may be in the spotlight, but Lamb is putting in work too. The swingman has turned things on as of late, averaging 39.3 FPPG over his last 3 games including a 46.8 Fantasy Point game against the 76ers. With the Hornets fighting for their life to make the playoffs, Lamb should put up big numbers against a Minnesota squad that is 25th in OPRK against SG/SFs.
PF – Paul Millsap, Denver Nuggets (DK Salary $6,700, 29.3 FPPG)
With the Nuggets looking to reclaim the #1 seed in the Western Conference, Millsap has been absolutely dominant down low. In his last 4 games, the former Hawk has averaged a very strong 40.2 FPPG and is showing no signs of slowing down. In his last 2 outings, Millsap has 2 double-doubles with a combined 27 Points and 24 Rebounds, all this before a wild 33 Point game against the Mavericks. As Denver looks to take back their spot at the top in the West, expect Millsap to continue his strong play against the Wizards, who are 26th in OPRK against PF/Cs.
C – Andre Drummond, Detroit Pistons (DK Salary $8,700, 45.4 FPPG)
The Pistons have found their way back over .500 and into the playoffs, and that is largely thanks to their star center. Drummond has consistently put up 50 and 60+ Fantasy Point games all season, including 52.3 FPPG over his last 3 games. This shouldn’t come as a surprise for a guy who is averaging a double-double (17.4 PPG and 15.4 RPG) and nearly 2 BLKPG. Despite the Pistons holding the 6 seed in the East, their fate is not yet sealed. Expect Drummond to go absolutely bananas tonight against a Suns team that is dead last in the NBA in OPRK against Centers.
G – De’Aaron Fox, Sacramento Kings (DK Salary $7,300, 36.8 FPPG)
Yes D’Angelo Russell crushed the Kings en route to a Cinderella-like 28 point comeback in the 4th quarter, but that shouldn’t discount the great 46 Fantasy Point game of Fox. The up-and-coming Point Guard has really found his footing in the NBA and is consistently putting up 40+ Fantasy Point games, including a 6-game stretch of 41 FPPG. The Kings are all but dead in the Western Conference playoff hunt, but especially in front of the Sacramento crowd, that shouldn’t stop Fox from carving up a Mavericks team that is the worst in the NBA in OPRK against Point Guards.
F – DeAndre’ Bembry, Atlanta Hawks (DK Salary $3,400, 20.1 FPPG)
20+ FPPG for under $4,500 DK is almost always a must-have, and Bembry is no exception. His stock has fallen a bit due to decreased minutes, but his efficiency in those minutes is still high. Plus, he contributed in his last outing against the Rockets, nearly posting a double-double with 14 Points and 9 Rebounds, good for 27.8 Fantasy Points. There should be no reason for Bembry’s low price tag, especially against a Jazz team that is second-to-last in the league in OPRK against SG/SFs.
UTIL – Ish Smith, Detroit Pistons (DK Salary $4,100, 18.5 FPPG)
18.5 FPPG for $4,100 DK is definitely fair value, but it doesn’t take into account the hot streak that Smith is currently on. Over his last 2 games, the former Demon Deacon has averaged 28.9 FPPG. Prior to that small stretch, Smith had 5 20+ Fantasy Point performances in 6 games. As the Pistons look to hold onto their playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, expect Smith to continue his solid play against a Suns team that is bottom third of the NBA in OPP PPG (113.7), OPP FG PCT (.479), and OPRK against Point Guards.
