Can't be perfect all the time, but God DAMNIT I CAN TRY, DAD!
Boston Red Sox @ Toronto Blue Jays
Starting Pitching: Rick Porcello vs Aaron Sanchez
After a big 10-3 win last night against the Red Sox the Blue Jays look to replicate that here tonight. However that is not going to be the case as the Red Sox are going to blow the doors off Toronto. Even without JD Martinez out of the lineup for the third straight game, I think the Red Sox have enough fire power in the lineup and they have Rick Porcello on the mound. The Red Sox are tied for the 4th most runs per game in the league with 5.3 while the Jays are only racking up 3.8 which is all the way back at 25th. The Jays are also 27th in the league in batting average only hitting the ball .220. The Red Sox with run away with this game tonight and will cover the spread at -1.5.
O/U: Over 9.5
Winners: Red Sox -160
Miami Marlins @ Detroit Tigers
Starting Pitching: Jose Urena vs Daniel Norris
I know I know, it isn’t ideal to bet on the Marlins, but this is as good a series as ever. The Tigers are either just as bad or worse in every major statistical category. The Marlins are ranked 30th in the league in runs scored per game and the Tigers are 29th. The Marlins are 25th in the league in team batting average and the Tigers are 27th. So if you are going to bet on Miami it would be against Detroit and against Daniel Norris. Now I know nothing about this man except he has the whitest name of all time. His name is so white I had to listen to Free Bird immediately. So for that reason I will be taking the Marlins tonight in Detroit.
O/U: Under 9.0
Winners: Marlins EVEN
New York Yankees @ Baltimore Orioles
Starting Pitching: CC Sabathia vs Dan Straily
The Yankees are 7-0 on the season against the Orioles and I don’t see them losing a game to them any time soon. New York has been playing great baseball this season and have won 8 out of their last 10 games. The Yankees have already hit 73 home runs in their first 47 games while Baltimore was the fastest team in MLB history to give up 100 runs in a season. The Orioles are the worst pitching team in the MLB and it really isn't even close. They are ranked deadlast in ERA (5.74), K/9, and home runs allowed. While the Yankees are a top 10 team in every offensive stat even with all the injuries in the middle of their lineup. I just don’t see the Orioles putting up a fight, take the Yankees and -1.5 spread so you can win a bit more money.
O/U: Over 8.5
Winners: Yankees -255
Betting mastermind. Didn't have the height or talent for sports but I can talk and pick them like a champ.
