After a perfect 3-0 last time out, lets keep this ball going and get you a winning parlay.
Boston Red Sox @ Baltimore Orioles
Starting Pitching: Hector Velazquez vs David Hess
The Boston Red Sox are one of the hottest teams in baseball over the past 3 weeks, winning 11 of their last 16 games. Although they lost last night 4-1, they are still one of the most feared lineups in the American League. AL MVP Mookie Betts has been playing great baseball lately and has an RBI in 5 of his last 7 games. On the other side, the Orioles are dead last in earned runs allowed this season with 5.9 runs per game. They have also given up the most home runs of any team, allowing opposing teams to hit 75 so far this season. 75 home runs in 35 games is extremely alarming. This pitching staff is very bad and against a team like the Red Sox, I don’t see them winning this series. Take the Red Sox to win and cover the spread.
O/U: Over 10.0
Winner: Red Sox -210
New York Mets @ San Diego Padres
Starting Pitching: Noah Syndergaard vs Cal Quantrill
Last time out Noah Syndergaard looked like the pitcher we all expected him to be. He threw a complete game shutout, AND HIT A HOME RUN to win the game. Now, it’s very unlikely he’ll repeat that performance considering he is one of the only pitchers in history to accomplish this feat, but all he needs is a few runs from his offense and he is in good shape. The Padres have one of the worst offenses in the MLB, only scoring 3.9 runs per game (24th) and only batting .226 (25th). Thor should be able to keep them to 2 runs or less and this Mets offense, although shaky at times, should be able to get him the run support he needs. I like the Mets to win this game in San Diego.
O/U: Under 7.5
Winner: Mets -150
Los Angeles Angels @ Detroit Tigers
Starting Pitching: Griffin Canning vs Daniel Norris
My man Shohei Ohtani will be making his season debut tonight in Detroit against the Tigers. I can’t describe how excited I am to see him play again, and adding him to the heart of this Angels lineup gives this team a completely different look. He adds a very solid bat that they desperately need. Anaheim as a team is only batting .240 (20th) so far, but Ohtani is going to bring a nice boost to that team. With the young star in the Angels lineup, opposing teams are going to need to restrategize and pitch differently to everybody in LA’s lineup. Meanwhile, the Tigers have a hard time getting runs on the board, only averaging 3.5 runs per game, which ranks 27th in the league. The Angels should be able to take this game away from the Tigers tonight.
O/U: Over 9.0
Winner: Angels -140
Betting mastermind. Didn't have the height or talent for sports but I can talk and pick them like a champ.
