I am so confident in my picks tonight I am going to parlay them together. I suggest you do the same.
Arizona Diamondbacks @ Philadelphia Phillies
Starting Pitching: Jon Duplantier vs Jake Arrieta
The Diamondbacks have been one of the best offenses this season and should continue to have success tonight against Phillies starter Jake Arrieta. Arrieta has been having an up and down year where he is not looking like the star pitcher we saw back on the Cubs. Arrieta has a 4.29 ERA and has allowed 5 earned runs in each of his last 2 starts. Meanwhile the Dbacks have won 5 straight games, where they have averaged over 7 runs per game. Arizona is ranked 7th in BAA (.258), 4th in SLG (.459) and are 4th in home runs hit (103). I think this offense is going to have a fun night against Arrieta and will do enough to ensure a win for the club. Arizona to upset the Phillies tonight, book it.
O/U: Over 9.0
Winners: Diamondbacks +120
Pittsburgh Pirates @ Atlanta Braves
Starting Pitching: Chris Archer vs Mike Foltynewicz
I can’t tell you what exactly is up with Chris Archer, but I can say he looks like a shell of his former self. The guy is getting lit up almost every time he takes the mound and I don’t see him having any success against this talented Braves team. The Braves have the 7th best BAA (.258) in the league and are 10th in OBP (.332). The Braves surpass the Pirates in every offensive statistic except for hits per game, but when the Pirates are incapable of getting those base runner in, that doesn’t matter. The Pirates leave an average of 3.51 runners left in scoring position per game. That’s well in the bottom half in the league and definitely will not win you any games. I am taking the Braves to take down the Pirates for the second straight game in Atlanta.
O/U: Over 9.5
Winners: Braves -150
San Diego Padres @ San Francisco Giants
Starting Pitching: Chris Paddock vs Tyler Beede
As I do whenever Chris Paddock is on the mound, I am taking the Padres to win this game. Although he has had a rough time in his last 2 outings, I believe in his pitching ability. The beginning of the season he looked unhittable and I think he will have the same success against a struggling San Francisco team. The Giants are only averaging 7.5 hits per game which ranked all the way down at 27th and only has a team batting average of .221 (29th). The SF offense is so bad this season that I don’t think there is any way they even score a run off Chris Paddock. 29th in OBP, 29th in SLG, and 29th in OPS. Meanwhile their starting pitcher Tyler Beede has a 8.15 ERA and has only struckout out 19 batters to the 15 he walked. Lock of the night, take the Padres over the Giants.
O/U: Under 8.0

Betting mastermind. Didn't have the height or talent for sports but I can talk and pick them like a champ.
