MLB Hit or Miss June 18th, 2019

Beware, some picks may not be for the faint of heart.

Boston Red Sox @ Minnesota Twins

Starting Pitching: David Price vs Michael Pineda

O/U: 9.5

Oh boy, the Boston Red Sox are hot now. They have now won 6 in a row and they will be looking for 7 tonight. Having David Price on the mound pits them in prime position to defeat the 1st place Minnesota Twins and win this road series. Shockingly the Boston bullpen actually played well last and pitched 2 scoreless innings and completed the shutout against the second best offense in the league. Now the Boston offense will be facing familiar opponent Michael Pineda, who they saw a lot of during his stint with the Yankees. Pineda only has a 5.04 ERA this season and a WHIP of 1.21. The Red Sox lineup should be able to get there's tonight and get the win. Sox over the Twins for the second straight night.

O/U: Under 9.5

Winners: Red Sox -125

Detroit Tigers @ Pittsburgh Pirates

Starting Pitching: Daniel Norris vs Mitch Keller

O/U: 9.0

Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Mitch Keller has been one of the worst pitchers I have seen this year. In his last 4 he has let up at least 4 runs and has not pitched longer than 4.0 innings. With an ERA of 15.43 I don't see anyways the Pirates have a chance any time he takes the mound. Sure the Tigers aren't the best team on the planet, hell they are barely average, but they can contend. This pick is purely based on the pitching matchup and I think Daniel Norris is the better pick of the two. I am taking the Tigers to take this game in Pittsburgh.

O/U: Over 9.0

Winners: Tigers +145

Miami Marlins @ St Louis Cardinals

Starting Pitching: Jordan Yamamoto vs Jack Flaherty

O/U: 8.0

UPSET ALERT, WE HAVE AN UPSET ALERT IN THE BUILDING. I know I know, it seems crazy to pick the Marlins against a real major league team like the Cardinals. But I really like this kid Jordan Yamamoto. In his first start he pitched 7.0 innings, striking out 5 batters and only allowing 1 hit. Oh and he didn't allow a run. This must have been against the Tigers or something right? Orioles? Nope! He did this against the St Louis Cardinals. I think Jordan is going to have a repeat performance and shock At Louis by bringing Miami to a rare road won. Take Miami with big value here.

O/U: Under 8.0

Winners: Marlins +225

Betting mastermind. Didn't have the height or talent for sports but I can talk and pick them like a champ.
