Yeah I know y'all liked that Marlins pick over the Cards last night.
Kansas City Royals @ Seattle Mariners
Starting Pitching: Brad Keller vs Marco Gonzalez
Just recently my father shared some giving advice with me that hold true for tonight. Always bet on the home team if they are about to get swept. Very rarely do we see a team get swept on their home field and I don't think we will see it tonight. The Mariners have dropped the last 2 games to the Royals but tonight they get their won back. Seattle is second in the league in home runs hit at 133 and 9th in the league in team slugging at .449. Plus they will be facing Brad Keller who average .5 walks every inning he had pitched this season. I harp on this all the time, you won't win many games if you give the opposing team free base runners. Take Seattle at home tonight over the Royals to avoid the sweep.
O/U: Over 8.5
Winners: Mariners -133
Los Angeles Angels @ Toronto Blue Jays
Starting Pitching: Andrew Heaney vs Aaron Sanchez
Although Andrew Heaney doesn't have a great ERA this season, he is a strikeout machine. Heaney already rang up 30 batters in his 21.2 innings of work and has only walked 6. Now the Angels have won the first two games of this series and I think they will win tonight. If you think I am contradicting myself from my self pick you would be mistaken. This is a four game series so the sweep is out of the question tonight. Plus the Blue Jays are probably the worst offensive team in the league and can't keep up with L.A. They are deadlast in AVG and OBP while also ranking 27th in SLG and OPS. The Halos will win their 3rd straight game tonight and demolish the Jays.
O/U: Over 9.5
Winners: Angels -185
Chicago White Sox @ Chicago Cubs
Starting Pitching: Lucas Giolito vs Jon Lester
It pains me to do this, it really does. I am going to have to pick the White Sox over the Cubs. Lucas Giolito has been amazing this season, seeking his 11th win and 10th straight. He has a 2.22 ERA and a 0.95 WHIP. I always go with the better pitching and tonight is no different. Jon Lester is clearly on the back end of his career and that's another thing that pains me to say. I love Jon Lester from his days on the Red Sox, but he just doesn't have it anymore. He has a 4.08 ERA and just hasn't been the same pitcher we have seen in years past. I think purely off this pitching matchup the forgotten team with be victorious. White Sox over the Cubs in a low scoring game.
O/U: Under 7.0
Winners: White Sox +132
Betting mastermind. Didn't have the height or talent for sports but I can talk and pick them like a champ.
