MLB Hit or Miss June 25th, 2019

6-0 in our last 6 games. Why not go 9-0?

San Diego Padres @ Baltimore Orioles

Starting Pitching: Logan Allen vs Jimmy Yacabonis

O/U: 10.5

Tonight we see the return of Manny Machado to Camden Yards and I don’t think the reception will be too great. But he is the type of player I can see thriving off that kind of energy from the crowd. I think Machado will end up having a multi hit game and lead the Padres to a much needed victory. San Diego has lost 3 straight games coming into tonight but they will be playing the worst team in the MLB. This is one of those games where I can’t give you all that many stats because both teams are that bad. But this is my lock of the night with the Padres lighting up the piss poor Orioles.

MY PICKS

O/U: Over 10.5

Winners: Padres -200

Texas Rangers @ Detroit Tigers

Starting Pitching: Jesse Chavez vs Jordan Zimmerman

O/U: 10.0

Jordan Zimmerman of the Detroit Tigers has not been good to say the least. He has a 6.03 ERA and has yet to record a win on the season. Going against him is the Texas Rangers who have averaged the 2nd most runs per game at 5.6 and the 11th most hits per game at 8.8. The Tigers as a whole have been one of the worst pitching teams all season, and because of that I am telling you to take the Rangers tonight. It won’t be close either so I urge you to take the -1.5 spread.

MY PICKS

O/U: Over 10.0

Winners: Rangers -150

Colorado Rockies @ San Francisco Giants

Starting Pitching: Chi Chi Gonzalez vs Madison Bumgarner

O/U: 8.0

Madison Bumgarner has not been the same pitcher we have seen for the past few years. I do not feel comfortable putting any money on the Giants when he is on the mound, especially against the Colorado Rockies who have been one of the best offensive teams this season. Colorado had averaged the 2nd most runs scored per game (5.6) and the most hits per game (9.5). Although I really liked their lineup coming into the season, I didn’t think they would have the 2nd best batting average at any point this year at .268. I think the Rockies will handle Bumgarner and take this win tonight. I am taking Colorado all the way.

MY PICKS

O/U: Over 8.0

Winners: Rockies +130
