3-0 last night, it's time to get a little risky.
New York Mets @ Minnesota Twins
Starting Pitching: Steve Matz vs Michael Pineda
The Twins have not looked like the team we saw at the beginning of the season. They have been very mediocre the past few weeks, only going 5-5 in their last 10 games. However the numbers are on their side tonight against the Mets. Minnesota is 25-8 coming off a loss this season and 28-15 at home. The twins still have the better team as the Mets still don’t know who they are outside of Pete Alonso and Jeff McNiel. I think this is going to be a nice bounce back for the Twins as they take game 2 of the series from the Mets.
O/U: Under 10.5
Winners: Twins -170
San Diego Padres @ Miami Marlins
Starting Pitching: Logan Allen vs Jordan Yamamoto
Jordan Yamamoto is the only pitcher on the planet right now that will get me to put money on the Marlins. 3 of his 5 starts this season he has held the opposing team scoreless, and that is with a very lackluster 2:1 K:BB ratio. With the Padres also having on of the worst offenses next to the Marlins, the pitching matchup is the pure reason I am going with Miami. Logan Allen can have a good night but Yamamoto will out on a show. Marlins over the Padres tonight.
O/U: Under 8.0
Winners: Marlins +105
Seattle Mariners @ Oakland Athletics
Starting Pitching: Marco Gonzales vs Daniel Mengden
This is a gut pick at it’s finest. The Mariners and Athletics have been on opposite streaks as of late with Oakland going 8-2 in their last 10 and Seattle going 2-8. I just think if the Mariners are going to steal a game from the A's it's going to be against Daniel Mengden. He has a 4.73 ERA and has allowed 41 hits in just 40 innings. I think the Mariners can get enough runs to take this game and that's why I am picking them in an upset.
O/U: Over 9.5
Winners: Mariners +140
Betting mastermind. Didn't have the height or talent for sports but I can talk and pick them like a champ.
