New week, new picks!

St. Louis Cardinals @ Pittsburgh Pirates

Starting Pitching: Daniel Ponce de Leon vs Trevor Williams

O/U: 9.5

Because I used to eat lunch or dinner every day in the Ponce De Leon hotel back in college, I just had to go with Daniel Ponce de Leon on the mound tonight. In his first 35.1 innings, Daniel has a 2.80 ERA and 41 strikeouts. I believe that against a very poor Pittsburgh offense, he should be able to dominate and put up a quality start. Plus, the Cardinals as the underdog tonight is mind boggling, and it's a great value pick. I’m taking the Cardinals easy, at the very least with the +1.5 spread.

O/U: Under 9.5

Winners: Cardinals +110

Cleveland Indians @ Toronto Blue Jays

Starting Pitching: Mike Clevinger vs Ryan Borucki

O/U: 9.0

Usually when there is a pitcher making his pro debut I go with them, but the Indians have been playing great baseball and I don't feel comfortable picking against them. Although not stunning, Mike Clevinger has been very steady and solid this season, and has been able to give Cleveland enough production to help them win games. I like the Indians to topple the Jays in Toronto and win this game.

O/U: Under 9.0

Winners: Indians -185

Chicago Cubs @ San Francisco Giants

Starting Pitching: Alec Mills vs Shaun Alexander

O/U: 9.0

The Cubs only being -115 favorites tonight might be the best value you are gonna get today. Chicago has been playing great the past few weeks, going 7-3 in their last 10. Also, they are just better than the Giants in every major statistic. Plus facing Shaun Alexander is a great matchup for them, one that they should be able to take huge advantage of. Meanwhile, despite their streak, the Giants are bottom 5 in every offensive stat, and I don't think they can keep up with Chicago. Cubs all the way tonight in the Bay.

O/U: Over 9.0

Winners: Cubs -115

Betting mastermind. Didn't have the height or talent for sports but I can talk and pick them like a champ.
