MLB Hit or Miss August 6th, 2019

Another 2-1 night and we are officially off to a booming week.

Milwaukee Brewers @ Pittsburgh Pirates

Starting Pitching: Chase Anderson vs Steven Brault

O/U: 9.5

The Pirates have been looking bad over the past couple of weeks but I think that will turn around tonight against the Brewers. Pittsburgh is 2-8 in their last 10 games and currently on a 3 game losing streak. But, they have Steven Brauly on the mound who has been pretty solid against the Brewers. In his last 2 games, he has only allowed 2 runs in 8.2 innings pitched and struck out 9 batters. The Brewers also haven’t been great as of late, only going 4-6 in their last 10. It seems Brault has the better of the Brew Crew and I think he gets them one more time tonight in Pittsburgh.

O/U: Over 9.5

Winners: Pirates +130

Chicago White Sox @ Detroit Tigers

Starting Pitching: Hector Santiago vs Der VerHagen

O/U: 10.5

If I can get anyone as the underdog against Detroit, you better believe I am throwing money at it. The White Sox have won 3 straight games and have averaged about 7 runs per game over that stretch. Meanwhile the Tigers are 2-8 in their last 10 while also dropping 5 straight. I think this is the best value you will get tonight because the Tigers are such a bad team and they should never be the favorites. Detroit on the season is 7-8 in games they are favorite to win. Pretty sad if you ask me, and also the reason I will be riding with the Sox tonight.

O/U: Under 10.5

Winners: White Sox +110

Washington Nationals @ San Francisco Giants

Starting Pitching: Anibal Sanchez vs Conner Menez

O/U: 8.5

Tonight I will be rolling with the Washington Nationals on the road against the Giants. San Fran seems to be back down to earth after the amazing run they went on back in June and July, so they are back to a seemingly below average team. I like the Nationals tonight because of starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez, who may not be having the best season, but has still been solid. The last time Sanchez pitched against the Giants, he only allowed 1 run in 6 innings of work on the way to a win. I think he will have another solid outing tonight and lead the Nats to a victory.

O/U: Under 8.5

Winners: Nationals -125
