Swept the board last night, and something tells me we can do it again.
Washington Nationals @ Atlanta Braves
Starting Pitching: Stephen Strasburg vs Max Fried
After losing 2 of 3 to the Mets, the Nationals have Stephen Strasburg on the mound to get them back on track. Strasburg has allowed only 2 earned runs in his last 15 innings pitched while also striking out 30 batters. I also think that with the Braves on a 6-game winning streak, they are due to fall. All streaks need to come to an end, and I think tonight is that night against the Nats. Max Fried has allowed 12 runs in his last 16 innings and has not been looking like a real threat as of late. That is why I am taking the Nationals to win this game tonight in Atlanta.
O/U: Over 9.0
Winners: Nationals +110
Chicago Cubs @ Milwaukee Brewers
Starting Pitching: Jose Quintana vs Chase Anderson
I have to roll with the Cubs tonight against the Brewers as long as Chase Anderson is on the mound. In his last 3 starts, he pitched a total 8.1 innings with only 8 Ks and 15 runs allowed. That is just horrendous and embarrassing. Against an offense like the Cubs, I don’t see any way he makes it far into this game. Chicago is a top-level offense, ranking 8th in OBP (.330), 9th in SLG (.449), and 8th in total home runs hit. I think the Cubs are going to blow the doors off the Brewers tonight and get the win in Milwaukee.
O/U: Over 9.5
Winners: Cubs -125
Miami Marlins @ Pittsburgh Pirates
Starting Pitching: Elieser Hernandez vs Dario Agrazal
The Pirates have been playing some good baseball over the past few weeks, going 7-3 in their last 10 games. Pittsburgh easily has the better offense in this matchup, recording the 4th most hits per game with 9.3 and having the 5th highest team batting average at .267. I don’t think there is any way the Marlins keep up on the road tonight, especially with Hernandez and his 5.06 ERA on the mound. I am taking the Pirates to take down the Marlins at home tonight with good value at -145.
O/U: Under 9.5
Winners: Pirates -145
Betting mastermind. Didn't have the height or talent for sports but I can talk and pick them like a champ.
